Hubbell engineers, manufactures and sells electrical and electronic products for a broad range of commercial, industrial, telecommunications and utility applications. For the six months ended 6/99, revenues increased 3% to $736.1 million. Net income decreased 1% to $82.8 million. Revenues reflect higher shipments of high voltage underground cable accessory product assets. Earnings were offset by increased interest expenses.
